Sales Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to sales of videotape/dvd/multimedia items and not to broadcast or subdistribution licences.

Product prices and freight charges are for within Australia only and are GST inclusive.

Prices quoted are for PAL VHS or DVD format. Prices may vary for NTSC format.

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

Screen Australia reserves the right to reasonabily determine the price category of each and any customer.

Non-account customers must send payment before the order can be processed.

All orders are accepted on a firm sale basis. Refunds are not available.

All goods remain the property of Screen Australia until they are paid for in full.

Delivery is generally within 10 days of receipt of order for all Australian customers.

Freight and handling charges are applicable.

Placement of an order shall signify acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Licence

Screen Australia grants a non-exclusive, non-theatric licence which grants the right to exhibit the program to a non-paying audience. Customers who purchase programs at the list price do not have public performance rights to the program. Public performance is defined as any publicly advertised screening to a paying audience. Copyright

Screen Australia programs may only be used for purposes indicated by the purchase price paid. Programs may not be edited, duplicated, broadcast, transmitted by cable or otherwise transmitted by any multi-receiver, open or closed circuit system, whether or not admission is charged, without prior written permission from Screen Australia. Any contravention of these restrictions may be regarded as a breach of copyright and may lead to prosecution.

Off-Air Copying

Educational institutions under an agreement with Screenrights are able to record Screen Australia programs for educational purposes when broadcast on television. For more information, contact Screenrights.
